We are a Church of England School - everyone learns, everyone cares

Our Aims:

Elm C of E Primary School seeks to be a community of life long learners.

The overriding aim of Elm School is to enable each individual to realise his or her maximum potential. Every child will be encouraged to develop the skills, attitudes and knowledge to enable them to relate to others, become self-confident and understand their place in our community.

Our Mission Statement:-

    Everyone Learning, everyone caring.
  • We are a caring 'can do' Christian community
  • Every child here can achieve well through consistantly good teaching, support and challenge.
  • Everyone is valued and respected; everyone has a contribution to make.
  • We provide a curriculum that engages children and makes them active learners.
  • We use our resources effectively to ensure all learners gain new skills and knowledge.
As far as is possible the work of the children is based on first-hand experience and is tailored to the needs of individual pupils.

We support and include children with special educational needs and disabilities in every aspect of the school’s life. Our SEND Information Report tells you more about our work in this area
